VE Day 80th Anniversary - A Time to Remember

Today marks 80 years since Victory in Europe Day - the day World War II came to an end in Europe. On 8th May 1945, peace was declared and today we pause to reflect on the courage, sacrifice and resilience of those who served and supported on the home front.

At March Recruitment, we took a moment to honour this important day and of course, no British celebration would be complete without cake! It was lovely to come together as a team to mark the occasion and appreciate the freedoms we enjoy thanks to those who came before us.

A particularly moving moment today was Josh Dylan reading of a wartime letter on the news. A beautiful tribute that brought the human stories of VE Day to life. For those who haven’t seen it, it is certainly worth taking the time to watch
