Sales Operations Manager
Location – Chertsey
Salary – £226 – 250 per day
Duration – May 2022 (MAT cover)

Summary of a Sales Operations Manager
This role is pivotal to the IM division and will have a key part in enabling the division to build upon success to date, and drive growth across all categories! The Sales Operations Manager will support the creation, maintenance, monitoring and management of the IM plan in terms of stock, sales and revenue. Deliver Plan: A core part of the role will be working with each of the sales channels/leads to ensure accurate forecasting is in place, for the defined period and in tracking performance and driving teams to ensure that their commitments for uplifts of intake are best based on agreed investment levels. Build the Plan: In addition also project managing key activities within the program; such as new launches in channels, strategic partner plans, new channel enablement and delivering those projects to time and quality. Maintain the Plan: Ensuring accounts and customers are being driven on the agreed parameters, metrics and Key Performance Indicators.

Responsibilities of a Sales Operations Manager
• Daily management of the IM plan assessing volume and value within the plan and drive initiatives to drive the plan further
• Work with the cross-functional UK team to drive the business cases and deliver results
• Ensure the commercial account team has developed annual and quarterly account plans with all key customers in the sector for new product launches and promotions & that each account is compliant & delivers on commitments made.
• Scenario planning in-line with overall business objectives and current trading outlook.
• Enable visibility for the business to develop and implement business plans to agreed levels of performance.
• Consolidate, interpret and communicate current trading performance with the Sales and leadership team, in order to support business decision making, corrective action and capitalise on opportunities.

• Ensure the commercial account team has developed annual and quarterly account plans with all key customers in the sector for new product launches and promotions & that each account is compliant & delivers on commitments made.
• Scenario planning in-line with overall business objectives and current trading outlook.
• Enable visibility for the business to develop and implement business plans to agreed levels of performance.
• Consolidate, interpret and communicate current trading performance with the Sales and leadership team, in order to support business decision making, corrective action and capitalise on opportunities.
• Close liaison with CEO executive office to create seamless links between advanced issues and actions for the resolution of customer complaints which have been collated through customer/end user interactions with the Contact Centre

Key competencies of a Sales Operations Manager
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel to manipulate, construct and present business data
• Commercially astute & highly analytical
• Structured and organised account management skill set.
• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Ability to de-escalate problems and provide direction for resolution where required.
• Ability to analyse data and articulate clearly the trends and implications of the data
• Skilled at planning, coordinating & solving problems
• Highly motivated and passionate about what they do.
• Outgoing teammate
• Experience of working with different cultures
• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• Experience in the IT and / or mobility market
• Experience in a Supply Chain or Commercial role would be beneficial
• Demonstrable Experience of creating & executing a structured channel plan and in managing that to successful conclusion
• Good project management skills, and demonstrable skills of achieving results through cross-functional teams
