Health, Safety and Environmental Manager
Location: Staines
Salary: £45 – £50,000 PA, plus benefits
Duration: Permanent

My client is looking for a Health Safety & Environmental Manager, working with our team. This is a full-time role, based at our head office in Staines upon Thames, with the option of hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities of a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager
The role holder will have relevant experience in conformity assessment or consulting services and will act as a subject matter expert on Health, safety, social accountability and environmental issues across the company. They will advise on statutory health, safety, social accountability, and environmental requirements as they affect the whole business

They will undertake risk assessments, assessment and performance monitoring to achieve improvements in health, safety and environmental performance including our target for zero accidents and carbon neutrality by 2030.

Key Competencies of a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager
• A highly organised individual with excellent communication skills and ideally have experience in the coordination or administration of projects.
• NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (essential); IEMA Foundation course in Environmental Management or equivalent.
• Working experience of current Health & Safety and Environmental management practices in the workplace.
• An outstanding team player who meets challenge with a pragmatic and resilient approach.
• Strong influencing and engagement skills, demonstrated through passion and encouragement, to a wide cross section of people, to stop and consider safer ways of working.
• The ability to analyse, interpret and present data to identify key trends and opportunities.
