Business Analyst
Location – Chertsey
Salary – £150 – £178 Per day
Duration – Ongoing contract

Summary of a Business Analyst
The business analyst will be responsible for delivering actionable insights based on a variety of different sources including primary research, 3rd party market data and the clients internal partners.

Responsibilities of a Business Analyst
• Market competitive Analysis & Display (Monitor and Commercial Display) Industry trend sensing
• Collect data on consumers, competitors and market place and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations
• Understand business objectives and design surveys to discover prospective customers’ preferences
• Compile and analyse statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect it
• Perform valid and reliable market research SWOT analysis
• Interpret data, formulate reports and make recommendations
• Use online market research and catalogue findings to databases
• Provide competitive analysis on various companies’ market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales and methods of operation
• Evaluate program methodology and key data to ensure that data on the releases are accurate and the angle of the release is correct
• Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties research and implement best practices
• CRM Management and Pipeline analysis
• Monitoring relationships with existing customers through CRM systems
• Ensuring the CRM system provides an effective sales funnel
• Developing and implementing marketing techniques that will drive new customers
• Set specific marketing strategies to retain customers
• Plan and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns
• Suggest new methods to address customers’ needs
• Track marketing metrics and trends, like conversion rates and web analytics
• Assist with organizing promotional events to reach prospective customers
• Review CRM software that meets our company’s needs
• Conduct market research to follow trends and competition


Key competencies of a Business Analyst

• Working in a matrix organisation, the individual will need to be a self-starter with great communication skills. Whether learning from other internal divisions or external partners, the individual will be curious and seek out new ways of taking the business to the next level
• An experienced individual with outstanding Excel skills
• Comfortable working in other software applications particularly MS PowerPoint
• An eye for detail with an interest to understand the reasoning behind the data
• Strong interpersonal skills are necessary considering the volume of partners and the variety of cultures
• A positive and flexible team member who understands the changing nature of priorities in a fast moving organisation
• Diligent in follow-up with determination to secure accurate and complete output
