Position: Returns Manager
Location: Chertsey 
Salary: £41,000-£46,000 plus benefits and bonus scheme
Duration: 12 months FTC

Overview of a Returns Manager:
As the Returns Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing return operations for various sectors including B2B Technical and Commercial, D2C Ecommerce, RDU, and CRN within the UK and Ireland. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective return processes, meeting business needs, and driving continuous improvement in return operations.

Key Responsibilities of a Returns Manager:
• Oversee and manage return operations for UK and Ireland, including B2B Technical and Commercial, D2C Ecommerce, RDU, and CRN sectors.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of returns, meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) and business requirements.
• Manage the Tech Return team and Ecommerce returns team, providing leadership and support to team members.
• Meet with key stakeholders to understand and support business needs related to return operations.
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels with LSPs (Logistics Service Providers), UK and Ireland Retail customers, and HQ visitors.
• Regularly visit sites of LSPs and Retail customers to foster strong relationships and address any issues or concerns.
• Review and support any new projects requested for return process improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for enhancing return processes and implementing innovative solutions.
• Run return reports to support business requirements for Ecommerce, Technical, and Commercial returns.
• Manage stock received and oversee the stock disposal process, ensuring accurate inventory management.
• Respond to and investigate stock movements and return-related queries, demonstrating problem-solving skills and tenacity to resolve challenges.
• Review return processes regularly and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Skills and Qualifications of a Returns Manager:
• Strong communication skills with experience in regular customer interaction.
• Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and an inquisitive mind set.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, LSPs, and Retail customers.
• Experience in project management and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred but not required)
