This role will suit a candidate with a hands on approach to their role and ability to support the Managing Director in the company’s continued growth over the ensuing years.


Key Responsibilities of an Accounts Manager

  • Preparing Monthly Management Accounts
  • Preparing Annual Budgets and Cash Flow Projections
  • Assist in preparation the Statuary Accounts
  • Managing all routine Accounting Functions
  • Provide analysis of Key Management Data as required.
  • Responsible for Accounts, Payable, Cash Transactions and Weekly Payroll
  • Completing HMRC returns
  • Producing Monthly Management Reports
  • Control of the Purchase Order Process
  • Pension Returns
  • Analysis of KPI


Key Competencies of an Accounts Manager

  • Have a very practical understanding of Management Accounting Principles and Techniques
  • Ability to Manage Workload and Time
  • Good Communications Skills
  • Have Advanced Excel Skills (not Macros)
  • Have a Practical and down to earth Approach to tasks
  • Experience of Pegasus Opera and XRL Reporting Tools (Desirable)
  • Experience of Manufacturing Industry (Desirable)
