Overview

My client is looking for someone to take over one of the pivotal roles in the company reporting to and working closely with the General Manager

• Manage the whole process from job confirmation, job planning, scheduling & resourcing through
to ensuring all details are ready for invoicing on completion of the job
• Liaise with clients and understand the client brief
• Perform quality controls and monitor operational KPIs
• Manage and mitigate operational risks across the business
• Identify, source, negotiate and manage project-based suppliers
• Establish and maintain business standards for operational efficiency
• Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
• Ensure the organization’s processes remain legally compliant
• Formulate strategic and operational objectives
• Coordinate staff recruitment, training and schedules
• Create a positive work environment to improve staff productivity
• Identify and implement ways to increase quality of customer service
• Ensure the smooth running of the office

Requirements

• Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role – minimum of 2 years’, ideally 3-5
years’ experience
• Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
• Ideally had quality management training, with demonstrable experience in implementing quality
improvement initiatives
• Good leadership qualities with the ability to provide direction
• High energy team player and manager
• Passion for working with a small growing business
• Strong communicator (verbally/written) and an adaptable thinker
• Outstanding planning and organisational skills
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work under pressure and with some demanding clients
• ‘Can do’ attitude and a flexible approach in a dynamic environment
• Flexibility to work some early mornings, early evenings and weekends as required from time to
time during busy periods
• Enjoys dealing with people, creating and maintaining relationships
• Confident and with a pleasant telephone manner
• Possesses proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
• Confidence to work autonomously and be proactive, as well as reactive

Core hours Monday to Friday 8.30 to 5.30
