Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of a fantastic nursery based in Hersham who focus on providing exceptional childcare and aim to provide every child with the best start.
The nursery is small enough to maintain high standards to provide a safe nurturing environment where they can grow and develop their confidence, independence and self-care.
They are currently looking to recruit a Manager to join their team on a full time basis.
As Manager you will be required to:
• Manage and run the nursery on a day to day basis
• Complete all administration
• Manage 5/6 staff
• Liaise with Ofsted
• Understand the curriculum
• Manage appraisals
• Manage staff training
It is essential you must have the following:
• Level 3 or higher in childcare (ideally level 5)
• Training in management
• Knowledge of the EYFS
• Key person experience
• Experience in a management position
• Good communication skills
• Team player
• Willing to keep continuous personal development up to date, eg attending courses, e – learning, reading journals and magazines
8am- 4pm Monday – Friday
22 days holiday + BH
