HR Manager

 

 

 

If you have experience of “start up” HR and in stand alone roles then you will be a great fit for this role

 

In this role you will be fully responsible for ensuring company HR policies and procedures are current for all global offices and responsible for both the day to day operation and long-term strategy of HR function.  There are 30 people based in the Leatherhead office  and 60 based in the company across Europe, Singapore, USA and Australia – this team is expected to grow to around 80 over the next  6 monthsThe role reports directly to CFO and CEO

 

The role is generalist and covering a range of areas including:

Payroll – managing the payroll processing function for staff across the jurisdictions.  Liaising with third party payroll service providers, managing leave entitlement and managing payment and calculation of employee costs

 

Recruitment – working with key recruitment agencies, negotiating fees and terms.  Constructing job descriptions, managing recruitment process and conducting first round interviews.  Managing onboarding process and probation period performance

Policy – ensuring company’s HR policies and procedures are current, adequately available and well communicated to the business

Training & Education – managing induction programmes – ensuring in place and executed effectively. Assisting in tailoring training programmes for select staff to support CPD

 

Performance Assessment – supporting senior management in preparation of assessment sheets for staff. Assisting across all areas of performance reviews and performance management including disciplinary and grievance.

 

ER – responsible for all areas of employee relations – first point of contact with gloval staff

Health & Safety – ensuring each office has appropriate H & S policies and monitoring their adherence to policy

 

The right person for this role will have good working knowledge of UK and Australian Employment Law and be able to provide a professional, informed and support HR service to the business.  CIPD Level 5 as a minimum would be desired.

 

They need someone with high emotional intelligence, a strong work ethic, attention to detail and excellent communication skills both written and verbal.  In addition, a good problem solver with strong negotiation skills and effective time management

 

Hours 9 – 5 but currently have a remote working policy in place – great benefits and salary up to £55k
