Location – Chertsey Surrey
Salary – £158.61 – £174.61 Per day
Duration – Ongoing contract

Summary of a HR Engagement and Inclusion Specialist
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a new Engagement & Inclusion function in the Europe Office HR team. You will coordinate and support in the delivery of internal comms and engagement initiatives, for c6000+ colleagues across the region, to give a meaningful employee proposition.

Responsibilities of a HR Engagement and Inclusion Specialist
• Manage & filter distribution lists in readiness to use for comms across the region
• Liaise with Engagement, Internal Comms, employee councils & HR teams across the region to support in the publication of EOHR driven news and updates
• Act as the EOHR super-user for the Hub; the UK & Ireland intranet – encouraging EO based business areas to share their news and manage the upload of relevant ‘HR & People’ based news items & resources
• Create the ‘EOHR People First’ quarterly magazine-style comms – detailing the info for colleague awareness, key business updates, celebratory articles on ‘Important Days of Significance’ across Europe (i.e. Ramadan / Chuseok) and create Wellbeing / ED&I education articles
• Support the wider EOHR Team in creating and sending ad-hoc comms – i.e. Performance & Development, Hybrid Working Updates, People Manager calendar items etc
• Manage the monthly ‘European President Employee Awards’ – collating submissions from across the region, drafting ‘The Winners’ comms and liaising with winning subs to present the awards
• Support in the update of communications material at our Head Office via digital screens and posters – liaising with the local Engagement Team
• Manage the company’s inbox, responding to queries and feedback
• Review comms channels and continually seek new ways of working and trends in Engagement and comms
• Support in the creation on logos, icons, branding suites & PowerPoint Presentations for the EOHR Team
• Support in creating Engagement Strategies to improve employee experience – working with the wider team and subsidiary HR teams
• Maintain and support the development of mechanisms for measuring and analysing levels of employee engagement
• Support with the annual Samsung Cultural Index survey – running a strategic European wide comms campaign and supporting subs with templates and comms ideation to support in survey adoption and awareness
• Support in the preparation, coordination and delivery of EO Town Halls
• Support in the delivery of company events – such as webinars, atrium events, celebratory events

• The ability to adapt effectively to unexpected issues in a fast-moving environment
• Excellent customer care & service skills, with a customer-first attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with acute attention to detail
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Good knowledge of graphic design software & possibly video editing software
• An aptitude for research; to use statistics and data to analyse, describe, predict, and improve the functions performance
• The confidence to seek clarity, adapt and respond under pressure
• Ability to work autonomously whilst being a strong team player who is highly collaborative, intuitive and willing to support the wider HR team when necessary
• The confidence to work across multiple teams or people to ensure the successful delivery of a project
• Experience of working in a regional role &/or a bi-linguist is an advantage but not necessary
• Confident in F2F presentation
• Comfortable working with senior stakeholders
• Have a systemic view of inclusion, communication and culture
• Digitally savvy and adept with new technologies
• Highly resilient, adaptable to change and adept at working at pace in a complex culture
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Restless in nature, curious in approach
• Confidence to seek clarity, adapt and respond under pressure
• Strong team player who is willing to support the wider HR team when necessary
• Highly collaborative and intuitive
