Customer Service Supervisor
Location: East Molesey
Salary: £30 – £35,000 PA
Duration: Permanent
Hours: 11.00am to 8.00pm Monday to Friday

To support the head of Customer Services in managing the day to day activities of the entire Customers Service including order processing and order fulfilment.

Key Responsibilities of a Customer Service Supervisor

• Managing the Customer Services team on daily activities
• Receiving customer orders and processing them onto the ERP system
• Resolving any customer complaints
• Updating the CRM as required
• Answering numerous telephone queries
• Receiving orders and acknowledging receipt
• Sourcing products
• Placing orders with approved suppliers
• Ringing customers back with ETA for their order
• Monitoring orders placed
• Checking goods coming against delivery note and PO
• Invoicing
• Maintaining process protocols
• Monitoring shelf life of stock held on site
• Devising telesales activity in order the grow the department

Experience needed:

• Three years’ experience at supervisory level
• Customer service experience is essential in an office based commercial environment
• Experience of managing self in a proactive way

General knowledge & Technical skills:

• IT Literate
• Numerate (GSCE or equivalent level maths)

Personal Skills & Attributes:

• Ability to self-manage and prioritise and plan effectively
• Well-developed interpersonal skills coupled with an ability to prioritise work
• Strong communications skills, both written and oral with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Team player, service orientated, supportive and innovative.
• Ability to motivate a team
• Good ‘people skills’ for building relationships with colleagues at all levels
• Calmness under pressure
• Decision-making ability
