How did our 2nd Recruitment Seminar go?
Recruitment Seminar – Who is in charge, Candidates or Companies?
As some of you may know we hosted our 2nd Recruitment Seminar on 6th November 2019, we had a remarkable turn out and we are so grateful for everyone that came. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting with new HR professionals and local business owners as well as catching up with our existing clients and friends. It was fantastic to host an event where everyone could network and connect whilst enjoying a delicious bacon roll and cup of coffee.
The primary focus of the seminar was to discuss the latest topical issues that have been in the forefront of everyone’s minds, attracting and retaining talent, the candidate led market, how to secure the ‘perfect’ candidate by thinking outside the box, mental health in the workplace and on-boarding new employees.
Our speakers were incredibly knowledgeable and engaging, both experts in different areas of their presentation making it diverse and interesting.
Katrina is the founder of The Searchologist, where she helps companies around the world increase their candidate response rates. She is a candidate engagement author and a keynote speaker at conferences in the UK, the US, Europe, Africa, Asia and Oceania.
Tina is the Director of CHRistina Consultancy, they are experts in giving you a flexible, tailored HR Service with the business expertise to deliver a professional and commercial approach for your Human Resource needs, large or small.
We were delighted with the feedback received from our attendee’s, our over overall score was 4.7 out of 5. We are just so pleased our guests felt they walked away with some valuable information.
“Thank you so much for hosting and for inviting us. We thoroughly enjoyed it and the speakers were brilliant, loved the goodie bags, thanks again!”
“Many thanks to you all for organising the seminar. The speakers were very interesting and it was lovely to network.”
Thanks to our IT guru Brian Norrie from NCI, we managed to record the seminar and have uploaded it onto our YouTube account, check it out!
